now, two years later, i find myself wondering who in the world gave my son permission to grow up. where has the time gone these past two years? my little man isn't a baby any longer ...
when i was a child, my mother threw GREAT birthday parties for us. i want joshua to feel that way about the parties we had for him too. my family tends to overdo things a lot, but the things we do usually end up being fabulous. and, in my opinion, this party was fabulous!
i loved making all the decorations (thank you, cricut machine!), and the food was simple to do. we had a sports-themed party, so the food consisted of hot dogs, nachos, fruit, chips, and etc. my best decision this year was to have someone else make the cake. mrs. scott, who I met at TCA, made Joshua the most adorable sports cake I have ever seen. and it was delicious!
all in all, we had almost 40 people over to celebrate with us (i told you we overdid things!). and we had a BALL! enjoy the pictures ...
